Dear colleagues
I am trying to fix this CT that was storaged 3 years in a good ambient and crated. After open it we did a full clean insaide gantry, console, PDC and cough.
We found some mini breakers open by dust F311 and forward in the left side of gantry and F701 and forward in cough. We fixed it while the new one arrives and work fine
We found the following problems but can't find the causes
1.-The SDB connection rack at back of console has two leds... 12v GPC led doesn't turn on
2.-At initialize SGI and IRS a couple of red blocks appears "Master Server Failed - "Mcu Reset Failed" " and the other is "COM error. aborting connection"
We check FO and is ok, bypassed it to j115 of rcomm but no change
Changed IRS disks for spares one, no change (System arrived with a 73GB HD and 2 X 18GB spare HD, both of them work normally)
We note gantry does not turn on completely, no leds on frontal cover, (Gantry open sensor by passed) cough is free movement (vertical movement on service available)
All power supplies work on range
Set MCU to service and verified gantry move CW and CCW slowly, tilt available too.
We can detect e-stop 24vdc on each MDB (PTH, PDV,MCU, RTC,GPC,PDC, WWC no error, emergency stops button on gantry cover) but not on rings in point.
We have not diagnostic nr service license available. System serial number is 2101
All assistant will be highly apprecciate
Best regards
Jose Morillo
You need to look in the error logs and pick the first critical error. Look at the P! & P2 parameters and it will tell you which one of the MCUs is not replying. Sounds like you have something wired wrong.
"COM error" is because camera/printer is disconnected.
Even without service license you can see error log/viewer for full description where you can see description errors and what to do. When clicking just wait for it appears is too slow. Errors are like MCU, GPC, XRS plus a number. (XRS 42 for example.)

Jose, from the host login as mx8000. Under service menu you will find the Error Log Viewer. Open it and filter the error by Critical and then arrange it by Date. With that we can see whats going on. Good luck!
