We have a Spectris, I do not have the manual. I need to check it but I do not know how far the light has to be from the source(also want to make sure of the source's location)
Unit self test but can not find the injector, batteries charge but only to 50%, the light on the battery assembly blinks green, but there are about 5 lights in there but only one blinks.
There are two optical transmitters - if testing the system w/o the glass as an intermediary, ensure the OTR units are 2-6" apart. The batteries when inserted into the charger unit will always show 50% until the battery reaches 100% charge (depending on the state of your batteries, a full charge may require 8 hours+). If the batteries are unable to receive and/or hold a charge, they will continue to show 50% charge and will also likely not properly operate your system. Check your battery voltages (~12v DC battery). Feel free to call to discuss more testing possibilities. 888-667-1062

Being a former Field Service Rep, for Medrad, replacing the charger card usually cleans this up. Also, if your batteries are more than 2 years old, they need to be replaced. Spectris Batteries do not hold a charge well after 2 years.
If your missing one of the OTRs, you wont get any communication. Check online for available OTRs. The Spectris Injector is EOL and no longer supported by Medrad

Being a former Field Service Rep, for Medrad, replacing the charger card usually cleans this up. Also, if your batteries are more than 2 years old, they need to be replaced. Spectris Batteries do not hold a charge well after 2 years.
