I have realized that GE CT systems based on SGI computers like O2 or octane2, MOD suddenly do not work any more, systems are working ok (scan/recon/network/etc), but when I have to use MOD for SAVESTATE, does not work anymore, although I try a good one (from other system).
I wonder if computer lost a configuration or what is happening?
Is the type of MOD equipment you are using as specified in the service manual? This refers to both the MOD drive and magneto-optical disks (capacity and number of bytes per sector)
For SGI computers of the indicated models, it is possible for specific settings in variables to disappear due to dead batteries in non-volatile memory.
Usually advised...
Carefully check the hardware settings (SCSI ID, cable, terminator, etc.) and software settings using the service manual...
