moving MRI

March 15, 2023 10:36

Hello,
I need help with the following:
How to transfer a GE open MRI from one place to another at low risk and cost?
Is there any available guide tutorial for the process?
Thanks in advance...

Is the device moving from an ISO9001 rated facility to another ISO9001 rated facility?

Interested in selling the cryocooler or other components? Do you know the model number? If it’s a permanent magnet type, you’ll absolutely need the shipping crate to transport it. If it’s a liquid helium system, when I’ve reclaimed the helium, it’s netted me about 5K USD. Considering that it’s an open MRI, I’m assuming it’s a permanent magnet type which doesn’t use liquid helium. As far as safely moving the system, rolling jacks can be used, then once accessible to exterior, a large forklift will usually work fine. The patient table is almost always removed for transport. Bottom plastics can be removed to allow full extension of feet to allow for jack access. I hope that helps.

First, offer it to the network. Perhaps you will find someone that move it for free to take some parts
