I'm looking for advice on getting into MRI and CT service. I'm an experienced Biomed and wanting to shift my career to servicing MR and CT, however I have no experience on these modalities. I'm located in Austin, TX and have been reaching out to companies trying to get an internship to gain some knowledge and experience in hopes that it would get my foot in the door somewhere.
Those of you who work on these, how does someone go about getting their foot in the door? Companies charge a lot of money to take their certification classes.
I'm willing to work for free just for the opportunity to learn. Anyone have any advice?
