When we turn on the Mx8000 16 IDT, there's a error message " Timeout period expired, Not ready: IRS"
It is very urgent and important matter to us, because we have plan to test for KFDA approval.
Your kindly advice on this matter would be apprecited.
The IRS is the second computer in your system. I do not know what your configuration s on this machine but make sure this computer is running first of all. Make sure also that the fiber optical cable is not broken and it is connected correctly. Of curse, when I say to make sure the IRS computer is running, there are many things to make sure on the IRS. But these are the things to look for initially. Good luck. If you are here locally in Miami/Fort Lauderdale area I may be able to help you more.

The IRS is your image reconstruction computer. It is responsible for taking the raw data from your detector and turning it into an image. The most common problem is your back projector board in this computer. You can toggle between computers on your monitor and see if it is coming on-line. If it is not coming up at all check your power supply. Watch it boot up if that is ok and see if it comes up. If it comes up there is software embedded on the system to run diagnostics on the boards internal to the computer. If it comes on but doesn't fully boot then try reloading software. If that doesn't work hard drive or motherboard is probably defective.
