In MX8000 quad we have the masseg (scan initializing failed ...) and i checked the slip rings, brushes and cleaned them, but the problem still. Any one have other suggestions.

when the problem started for the first time, i could not do neither the tube warm up nor scout scan. After cleaning the slip rings with a piece of clothes and checking the brushes the CT do the tube warm up and scout but when starting the (PLAN ON SURVIEW) the gantry rotates a few rounds and it gives me the message (Scan initialization failed. please check scan parameters and try again)and even after changing the parameters the same happened i got the same message.
The error message is:
E 20 0 27 16 d2 3 17
the next try error message was:
E 0 0 1d 18 11 0 0
and the last time error message was:
E 0 0 1c 13 e2 0 0
in each time i try i enter a new patient data (same exam).

What is the error in the error log viewer?
That is the first thing to check.

Reproduce the problem. Note scanner time. Look in error logs - find any errors the start with a capital "E".
Post those errors here.

Double click on any of these errors, then click on OK and you will see the explanation popping up in a Netscape window.
