You don't program a RFI to the serial#. A new Permanent Code has to be generated by GE to match your RFI, Serial#, SW level and options. At least that is what they taught us in class.

Can it be done by replacing a chip on the new card?

I have a tech installing an RFI board on a Voluson e8.
I need the code to reprogram an RFI to the machines serial#.
Here are all the identifiers from the board label:
RFI20c.P8 RoHS
KTI300614_4
6276/1115/03439
HELP!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
