I have an OEC 7600 Compact C-Arm that will not fully engage the IRIS limit switches. If the IRIS is completely open, the close function will not engage. However, if I touch the limit switch's I am able to engage & close the IRIS. Collimator will fully close & open, but once it is fully opened again I can not engage to close (no motion/sound). Verified with two collimators (both doing same thing) & two control boards. Anything would be helpful. Thanks Cris cra@integritymed.com, 239-454-9555
Cris:
Had the same problem and it was caused by a broken wire in the harness not feeding back the signal. There are spare wires in the harness that you can use instead of replacing the complete harness.
Lenny,
Thanks for the response. It was actually a bad connection between the IRIS limit switches. Was able to jumper it out & get it fixed. Thanks again.
