Hi!
i have this problema with a c arm GE OEC 9800
when is working for a 1 or 2 hours, suddenly appear this messeage: COMMUNICATION FAILED.
the communication between the generator and the Workstation failed.
does anybody knows about it?

could be your interconnect cable or the pins inside connector pushed in on c-arm

Always look where the human last touched it...... connectors, cables, reset comm.

SRAM card probably has a dead battery and needs to be replaced. It must be done in a very specific way. If you don't know please ask.

There is no SRAM card in the 9800. You are thinking of earlier systems.
