There seem to be a bug in the "date" on all Linux based MRI systems, such as Edge, eclipse, Infinion and others. the temporary work around seems to work, by changing the date from root, to 2010, and back to current date from the applications menu.
we had 3 situations like this today, in the LA area.
It is also the OSF versions ( UNIX ) affected. Call Philips and they will come patch it for free. Your workaround only gets things working for a bit, then things (like filming and such) will freeze and the system will still be "buggy".
