Dear colleagues!
I looking for solution of a table error nr.3140002 in a Philips DuoDiagnost version 2.3.6/2.3.1. If anybody advice me or any service manual of this equipment shall be much appreciated.
error means that safety circuit is broken - open and K1 relay is inactive. You have to check if any movement limit switch is activated (tilting, tube vertical, tube angulate, bucky frame foot and head) or any red emergency button is pressed (depressing emergency button you will solve problem).
If emergency button is OK, next steps are:
- switch off device
- put short bridge on W2 (SCW2) point on backpanel of geometry control unit .
GCU is located near the table base. On that way safety circuit is shorted and all movements are possible!!!
- switch on and check if boot up without errors
- carefully move tube and/or bucky frame out of limit position, put table in horizontal if not.
- switch off and remove short bridge from W2.
If still there is error probably one of limit microswitches is defective or K1 relay or SC100 pcb. (both are located in geometry control unit GCU).
Also could be broken some cable from limit switches to GCU backpanel.
I have a similar fault on my duo diagnostic that no movement on tube vertical and tube angulate while other tilt/movements are fine. I tried bridging SCW2 but could not solve either. Where could the limit switched for this be located?

Appreciate your hint.
