The equipment is Philips gyroscan NT 5 and the problem that I have is that I measure very low pressure in the magnet, inclusively power on main heater does not raise. What can be the problem?
As for low pressure, it is very simple on PHILIPS.
YOU HAVE A LEAK.
YOUR COLDHEAD SEAL IS LEAKING
YOUR TURRET IS LEAKING
YOUR BURST BYPASS VALVE IS LEAKING
OR YOUR BLEED VENT IS LEAKING
OR YOUR PRESSURE DETECTOR IS BAD.
IF YOU CRACK THE MAGNET AND YOU ACTUALLY HAVE PRESSURE than you can assume your detector is bad, if you actually DONT HAVE PRESSURE, RAMP DOWN, use gas to pressurize the magnet to 2psi, and get your leak detector or leak bubbles looking for the leak at all seals.
Do not exceed 4psi as your spring flapper will start leaking
Do not exceed 8psi or your brust disk will go.

FIRST OFF.
OXFORD NEVER MADE A MAGNET FOR THE T5 PHILIPS
It was produced by IGC of LATHAM NEW YORK
As for low pressure, it is very simple on PHILIPS.
YOU HAVE A LEAK.
YOUR COLDHEAD SEAL IS LEAKING
YOUR TURRET IS LEAKING
YOUR BURST BYPASS VALVE IS LEAKING
OR YOUR BLEED VENT IS LEAKING

Do not exceed 8psi or your brust disk will go.
DO NOT DO THIS RAMPED UP OR YOU COULD QUENCH.
