HELLO,
I HAVE THIS HD11XE HERE AND THE UNIT DOES NOT START. THE POWER SUPPLY HAS A LED THAT SAYS "AC OK"
AND IT IS ON IF I PLUG IT ON THE OUTLET.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN ?
I OPENED THE PS AND I SAW A BIG CAPACITOR DEFECTIVE.IT CRACKED ALSO THE BOARD SINCE THE "EXPLOSION" BLAST WAS RELEASED VERTICAL ON THE BOARD.ANYWAY I SENT IT TO A GUY TO FIX IT. LETS SAY THAT HE DID FIX IT, IS IT POSSIBLE ALSO TO BE DEFECTIVE THE APLIO BOARD ?
HOW CAN I TELL ? IS THERE A WAY TO BE SURE? (LIKE THE ENVISOR)
THE PS OF THE PC IS OK.

You first chek PC power Supply.its okey,you manual turn on the pc and chek main power supply All LEDS light green. manual pC on switch installed on back side of pc.pc dosnot turn on manualy,
prolem is PC.Reset CMOS on mothe bord or PUT A new POWER Supply in PC.if neeed any help contact me.

AC OK is good :-) It should be on if you plug it into a wall socket... if a capacitor has blown, try to replace all defective components and give it a try.. there's no other way :-) Then you'll see what happens..
it is possible to fix it, we have repaired a few units. There are capacitors and there are also transistors that go bad as well as surface mount components. It is very difficult to fix in most cases though.

you should replace all the chemical capacitors on that power line on the board and power supply both they will mostly work

The HD11 have this problem, you must change the power supply not posible fix it.
