Is there any error message? The reasons can be a lot...first you have to check the probe on the same system. If the probe is all right,then watching the board of switching probes....
No signal shows that the monitor is not receiving the data signal which can be due to the vga cable is not connected properly , damaged vga cable, or even a video board issue
first thing to do is to check your cable
