Dear colleagues
I have a question please,
If i replaced high tension tank (pbu) for Philips ICT,
Did I need any calibration or re-setting??
Thanks for any help.
1.Power up the system according to the procedure “System Power Up” on page 58.
2.Open Service Tools \ Repair \ System Configuration \ System and check the revision of the PBU application firmware and update it if necessary according to the procedure in the iCT Hardware programming manual. If a software update is done, the system will automatically perform an X-segment software alignment.
3.The power to the X-segment must be cycled to update the high voltage calibration data.
Cycle the power to the X-segment by turning the Rotor breaker on the PDU OFF, waiting 20 seconds and turning it back ON.
4.Run the rotor balance check according to the applicable Brilliance iCT Calibration manual and balance the rotor if necessary.
5.Refer to the appropriate Brilliance iCT Calibration Manual and run Filament calibration.
6.Perform the required tube conditioning if necessary. Short tube conditioning is required if the X-ray tube has been idle more than 4 hours and long tube conditioning if it has been idle for more than 7 days.
7.Verify Image Quality. Refer to the appropriate Brilliance iCT Image Quality Test Instruction Manual.
8.Box up the old power block unit and return it. Ensure all paperwork on the PBU is completed.

Normal settings and calibration procedures are not necessary unless the x-ray tube has to be changed.
