Philips iE33 problem

Hi all
Philips iE33, when a X3-1 probe is connected, the error 201 pops out. The X3-1 probe works ok on other machine. Other probes work, S5-1 and L11-3, with no problems.
Software is not the issue.
What could be the problem, which board or...?

I would not be so quick to rule out software. The X3-1 probe works differently than the S5-1 and L11-3. It requires different parts of the software and hardware to work. If software is not the issue, then the most likely failure is the NAIM. Since you indicate that you have two systems, maybe swap the NAIM boards and see if the problem moves.
