Philips Libra X-Scope Connection

January 18, 2016 09:44

I have an older version Philips Libra that I am having problems connecting to. I know I have a good connection because I receive post boot errors using a different serial program from x-scope. I have a new service dongle, IST is registered but when I connect all I get is the Target DFI and SUCO active but no data. In the workstation "Set up" screen there is suppose to be a "Enable Service" tab to check but it isn't available on this older version because I don't see that option. Is there a set of DIMM switch settings or? I have a 3009 error and am trying to run a system backup for the DFI.

Has anyone taken out the 68 pin SCSI scuzzy drive and tried downloading software to it with a 68 pin SCSI to ATA converter or computer system capable of connecting to this scuzzy drive? Thanks in advance.....very frustrated and need some assistance ASAP!

Tried an ethernet crossover and a DB9 9pin to DB925 pin Null modem cable directly to the DFI. There is no option on the c-arm setup screen for "Enable Service" and I do get the message Target DFI, and target SUCO found" but can't do anything further.

per the manual I have it does not say db9 to db25 it says network crossover.if there was an email address I would send you the manual. if you do not have enable service you have a very old system that requires a parallel dongle most likely. would need to know software version to know for sure
