Philips Mobile Diagnost DR - Software required!

Hello, I am currently have Philips mobile xray - model: Mobile Diagnost DR. I believe this is 2012 machine which has HW rev 1.X , the current hard disk drive was crashed, so I need to install a new empty HDD and I was looking for software of this machine, release of R1.x and wanted to ask if it's possible that machine software can be upgraded to R2.x even if the main HW is R1.x ? thanks in advance
