i am facing problem with philips tomoscan av performance s (AVPS) .i got x2a error even in warmup or air cal , i changed HT cables then i perform a test in stationary scanning i got the same problem;i noticed that there is leaking oil from HT tank cathode side. sometimes i if i try i get tube arcing error. is the problem in ht tank or tube.
you said that i can test HV tanks without tube
i did not find the procedure in documentation , please which part or section in technical guide is mentioned this test.

You have to test HT tank without Xray tube first to confirm this.How to do the test is mentioned in the doccumentation

you have to do dielectric test HT tank.Its there in the manual.
