Howdy Laura,
A 606 error usually means one of the computer subsystems failed to start up properly. What number does it get to on the progress bar before it gives the error? That can help identify the problem.
If it is a Host-SIP system, A-C hardware, a 606 error is usually caused by one of the Dolphin boards failing to communicate and synchronize with the other one during start-up. That can be caused by the IPL cable that connects them, a Dolphin board needing to be reseated, or a failure of a Dolphin board or the computer subsystem. If it is a newer cart, D-R hardware, it is usually caused by corrupted software, a bad hard drive or the UMB or EMB (computer subsystem assembly).

Hi Laura,
The most likely culprit for this diagnostic error is:
- SIP is not answering on named pipe.
- Host physical memory problem.
Check and troubleshoot Dolphin IPL.
