Picker 6000, Error Code 2012, Gantry rotate during Warm up

I deal and work with Picker 6000 CT scanner. I having a problem Error Code 2012. description of the error
BRD: GPU SLOT #:7 GROUP : SCAN PROG: CSHL PC:23bc
RF ER , Pos Meas Fault.
I find the gantry rotate during warm up and scan, For your info..
the x-ray tube come on when I do warm up and it just come on once then fail.
Please help me trouble shoot this problem.

Dear Sir,
this is position mesurment trouble of the rotation frame (RF).
is this a permenant trouble?
do you got any red led on the servo controller when the error show up?
do you have old or new servo controller (2 parts or just one part)
i have about 13 years experiance in Picker PQ IQ CTs

Ganntry initialization mean GPU and PMDC are OK
RX present once during warm up mean you have green light on console (does it turn off when errror appear?
Check cough brakes. A free cough can make 2012 appear. if it is free check green brake bands located under footsw and beside cough for intermitently activation
whe error appear, press Shift and ENTER TEXT, after press REVU and take note of the TRACER number of the error

Dear all,
Thank you.
After I clean up the slip ring the system back to normal. I discovered dirt, dust and the brushes hair stick on the slip, remove them and system up.
But unfortunately I got one more problem, 2 lines on the pilot image field. Not an artifact but lines. Initially I thought because of the VFSC board , swap them next to another board, I found the line moving. I ordered one VFSC board because I thought I have a bad board but instead not..

2012 error is related to rotation of the scan frame. You can have a bad protection switch, PMDC or GPU board, Servo Controller, Fuse, etc.
At ERP program, use the Long error list of 2012 error and find the tracer number (0 to 11). That will help you troubeshoot it.

Yes I got the red led on tube starter when the error code show up.
