I have a Prism 1000 with a SCSI interface A4 color Mitsubuishi printer. This printer is out of support and I need to get some images out in color, What options do I have, it seems there are no more SCSI printers, There is no ink for the Mistubishi one.
Can I connect a Video printer some how. Or can I get the images in dicom format
Thanks for any help

We've had the same issue with our 3600 printers for 1000 and 2000 XP
I've installed a Codonics 1600 printer for color print. You'd need to install a new printer and assign an IP address, or you can use an existing IP, but would need to de-install 3600 prior to that.
Good luck.

The Codonics NP1600 or any other printer with postcript abilities will do it well. There is no need to deinstall the MS3600 software (they could work together if supplies were available). Here, our customers use regular PC printers like inkjet or laserjet, they are very cheap but they aren't as good as the sublimation ones

The reason I have de-installed S3600 is that our techs kept sending printing commands to that printer, so I had to come almost every day to dequeue it, because they've complained about "beeping" noise from the Odyssey PC. (Job security) :)

Any "network" printer will work, but it must have the correct "driver" for your Picker PRISM 1000 Nuclear Camera. We have an EP1650 Codonics color printer in our Nuclear Medicine department in our hospital.

Go to www.codonics.com where you can find that EP-1000 is a current model. Check out their NP series see if they are compatiable to your PRISM 1000. You can obtain free "drivers" from the condonics website. I'm sure when you order a new or refurnblished color printer from condonics they will provide you with the proper driver when you tell them that you have a PRISM 1000. Good luck.
