POC 140 w0 sensor error
January 17, 2016 05:30
Dear friends,
I`m having an error with W0 sensor wrong state. Error No 148. Also CR creates images with artifacts like raster. As I see when reading smaller cassette 10x12, I do not see an error message, but when I insert 14x14 cassette, then I see an error. Also does anybody know where to purchase roller cleaning tools, or is there an alternative? My e-mail is kecman.borislav@gmail.com
Best regards and thanks in advance...

The W0 sensor determines the activation and deactivation of the rollers according to screen presence at the entrance of the drum. The top W0 sensor is the receiver and the bottom one is the transmitter.
W0 sensor at wrong state means the sensor is in a failed state. It is in "1" position instead of "0".
First reset the CR reader by turning it off and on.
Insert the cassette again and see if error repeats.
If it recurs, check or replace W0 sensor (J511 on the sensor board.
To perform a test on the J511 W0 sensor, insert a screen into the drum and check J511 sensor LED position change. During the screen upload the LED should go from green to OFF

Hi, I recommend cleaning rollers. This error can occur when rollers can't move screens fully.

Thanks for the hint. I resolve it with cleaning rollers... Somebody before I got this unit pimped it and put double roller springs to make more friction, so these springs bended screw that was carrying the spring. I resolve it with new screw and just one spring per screw. After cleaning the rollers, everything works as a charm... Thank you again!!!!

If you face the same problem again i have found an alternative solution, I'm using phosphor screens from a Fuji CR this are more lighter and thinners therefore the system doesn't needs to uses any extra effort to get the screen inside the drum.
