Printing problem with Philips Tomoscan EG CT Scanner
April 26, 2007 09:32
I have a Tomoscan EG CT scanner at which is having problems in printing images. When you input a print command from the user/operator interface panel an error message appears on the screen as ooS 0 AGFA-LASER and when you continue trying to print it gives another message as PRINT PROCESS SUSPENDED.PLEASE RESUME DUTY. Of late the error could be resetted by switching on and off the machine.
When we tried to go into service mode (serv), the MOD drive fails to read the Service Interface MOD which rendered it impossible to have a detailed report of the problem.
Unfortunately there is no service manual for neither the CT scanner nor the Laser printer on site to interpret the error codes.
If we log into the System Adminstrator (sa) platform, and view the error log, it gives the messages:-
Putter.o: action_agfaptr_init:Device/dev/rsd12a is out of service scsi-open failed
and
scsi_open: could not open/ dev/rsd12a - errono2
The printer itself is going into READY and ON LINE state and can print its own test image properly.
Your urgent attention to this matter will be appreciated as this is the only CT in the country.
Yours Sincerely

Dear Oswell,
If you are using the GE-CT I had some info below:
1. The Printer configuration on CT is not right of Printer info: AE TITLE, IP ADDRESS, DICOM PORT, PRINTER PROTOCOL(dicom printer),...
2. you should re-setting these info into your CT Workstation then reboot both CT Workstation and Printer
Hope the problem can be solved for you
