I have problem in GE CT/I have octant computer
my problem when I do worm up I have this massage
The cooling algorithms of this system have been specifically designed to
operate with the general electic tube unit
Because of the high energy input allowed for these tube unit
Use of another type of tube unit with this high energy input could result in explosion fire and serious personal injury
contact Your service representative if you have questions about the tube
Compatibility of this CT system
Warning scans may have been taken within the last tow hours
warmup scan may cause subsequent tube cooling delays
tube warmup will run in auto scan mode

There is no problem of this message ..GE make this warning because they want to keep the customer buying only GE XRAY Tube. So if you want to install a VARIANT XRAY TUBEwith the same caracteristics there is no problem ..
But you must have the right XRAYtube in the Gantry ..
This message is normal and appear when you do Tube warmup ..Dont be afraid ..You will not damage the system if when you want to replace the GE XRAY tube with VARIANT Xray tube or Dunlee ...
It is only to show the customer that he must buy GE XRAY TUBE ...
Your system is OK and normal ..
Run tube warmup every day or when your system is not used after 2 hours.

At Alep there is a CT/I with indigo2.I installed it 2 years ago.

kindly go to the x ray generator setting in the software & recheck the setting.there may be a difference in the setting while changing the tube.
