I need help with a Philips BV300 Plus C-Arm. Since new (about two years), this equipment periodically halts its functioning. Although, the equipment will shoot the x-ray, the image management software becomes inoperative. Therefore, the WHOLE system becomes inoperative!.
The Philips service people has been unable lo locate the source of the problem, in several occasions they correct it by reformatting the hard drive (and of course, we loose all the stored data!), and reinstalling the software, needless to say that problem shows up again.
Because this problem, Philips extended their standard warranty to 2 years, that period has now expired, and Philips is trying to charge us for their visits, and we are NOT,... repeat, we are NOT very happy campers!.
Had anyone experienced this problem?, how it was solved?, any suggestions?, how to deal with Philips?, an answer to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all,

I had a similar problem with the Philips BV29. The solution had two parts. Ist, the incoming line supplied by the hospital was droping down greater than 20% from nominal. This was proven by a data logger for a couple of days. 2nd, the the power supply inside the unit had a crowbar circuit which was set incorrectly. I also checked all power cables and found loose connections inside and at the wall plug. Hope this helps.
