ER-117 XG Error 00000541, according to the diagnostic manual, there is an Anode Overcurrent and it wont make an exposure, does that mean the HV Tank is bad? How can I check this manually?
almost the cause is from bad X-Ray Tube. if you want to check in further, You had better execute no load test. but the best way in my opinion, is changing tube. if you need any help. just mail me. hskang@medihealth.or.kr
Hi I did change the Xray tube, checked the HV cables, had the HV tank (+) serviced cause it had air in it, and still can't make any exposures, and have the same XG error 541, besides this other error:
Hi Manuel,
The tube is a 2010 model, the rotor is very noisy as well, I took the +HV tank and it had air in it, so I sent it to service and still having the same error.
So after changing the x ray tube, that was bad in first place, I ended up changing the Anode HV tank, and it got fixed. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Hello, I have this error code in the ProSpeed
ER-117 XG Error 00000541, according to the diagnostic manual, there is an Anode Overcurrent and it wont make an exposure, does that mean the HV Tank is bad? How can I check this manually?
Could a bad tube send that type of error?

Hi Sir,
I took these measurments on the HV Cables:
X RAY TUBE Cathode side (-):
C-L : 0.5 ohm
C-S : 2.5 ohm
L-S : 2.5 ohm
X RAY TUBE Anode side (+):
C-L : 0.5 ohm
C-S : 0.7 ohm
L-S : 0.6 ohm
Anode HV TANK (+):
C-L : 0.3 ohm
C-S : 0.2 ohm
L-S : 0.2 ohm
Cathode HV TANK (-):
C-L : 0.2 ohm
C-S : 0.2 ohm
L-S : 0.2 ohm

The resistance between C-L, L-C, L-S should be 0

Francisco:
Most likely your x-ray tube is gone. It probably is gassy. How old is this tube?

Hi again guys, I'm having a similar error again on this system, but with another error code:
ER-117 XG Error code 148
(Generator Safety Loop Open)
Does any one knows where the Generator Safety Loop is located?
