A customer has 2010 Proteus rad room and it has the new Eclipse collimator. They have an intermittent problem with the collimator light not coming on. When it happens, the only way they can get it to work is to re-boot the system. Everything checks out fine - no loose connections, no crimped cables, switch tests good, lamp was replaced, lamp socket tests OK - and it never stops working when I am there, but they have been dealing with the problem for several weeks. Has anyone seen this problem? Does anyone have a service manual and/or schematics for the GE Eclipse collimator? It seems like maybe it is a heat issue, does anyone know if there is a thermal sensor in that collimator? Thanks!
