Q4500 Error- Treadmill Power Failure

December 11, 2006 10:23

Q55 treadmill problem. Interface cable, control board, and speed sensor ruled out by sub. Swapped treadmills and problem follows treadmill. Cabled directly to control board with no solution. Driving me nuts!! Jeff sysmed@sysmed.org TIA

Jeff:
First, go away a couple of days. Let your mind take a breath...
Are you back?
Ok, Now change all the module, interface and spped sensor at the same time, probably you have a problem in both interface and module. Be sure the cables from speed sensor are ok, test it one by one and move it. Check mechanical obstruction of motor and poleis
I know the next look ridiculous but check the AC plug and ac cable, a loose cable can make this problem.

At last, a short circuit on motor can be the failure. You don't talk about to had tested it.

Try to be more specific about the fail: don't start, start and stop, noises?, etc.

If all fail, call Bewitched ;)

Good look
