Dear All,
We are facing following error in qdr 4500.
"The motor direction has reversed during stepping. this can happen when motor's thermal overload circuit trips. please wait few second for motor to cool down and retry the scan. state machine error in task 0 index 360."
can any body please help , what is the exact problem. we couldn't find this error in service manual.
It can be everything in motion circuit. Can you please tell us what is the motion direction you have a problem? Longitudiνal (from head to foot) or transversal?
at the end of the loncidutinal motion there is a connector between step motor and endless screw, Check it if its ok you have a problem with one of the boards drivers of motion step motors

Hi, you need to verify at first, that there is no jam with the parts that the motor moves, any jam will turn the motor hot.
