Hi,
If the High Tension input to the x ray tube
(Va and Vc) are not equal, and the machine(its a CArm)
is working and the image is good untill 70KV,
and it stops exposure(fluoro) for more than 70kv,
if I could overcome the protection and forced
the machine to expose for more than 70kv,
what could be the dangerous problem happen?
Thanks in advance
Alaa

Most of generators have a feedback comparator for Kv+ against Kv-. When discrepancy are about 10%, UNBALANCED Kv signal is active.
Of course, you can override the warning, but isn't good idea, because you put one leg of inverter to deliver far more current than the other.
Even more, if you have a resonant circuit for Hv generation, you can destroy whole power stage.
