The "ImageChecker" is made of two parts usually. The first is a film digitzer (the latest units were speciality Vidar Cadpro units) that scanned the mammogrpahy films. These images were then analyzed by the R2 software for possible issues the radiologist might want to consider. This is what would be called computer aided detection rather than computer aided diagnosis. The second part of the ImageChecker system was either a motorized viewer to display the films and the "digitized images" or a LCD workstation. We made the motorized viewers for R2. Daniel Giesberg
