I have a problem with a REGIUS MODEL 110. During the initialization procedure it shuts down without any error messages. All source voltages are fine, I just haven't been able to check the halogen lamp voltage. Can someone give me a hint? Thanks in advance.
I don't know what system C2, C3, C7 do you have?
But if the scanner shuts down it might be
1 no communication with the computer
(Where the scan is set in the standby mode)
then if you mute a call from a PC goes into standby.
2 This situation can very often occur with a damaged photomultiplier module.
Thanks for you reply. The system is C2. Let me aks you somthing. The scanner should initialize even the PC is not connected and after that appear on network error? The second idea related with damaged photomultiplier module (PMU) is very interesting. There exist any procedure to confirm this situation? Thank you in advance,

It does not necessarily depend on the configuration. You can set the scanner so that after turning off the PC goes into standby mode.
If there is no communication it will not turn on. If the communication is with the PC, the scanner will start even if there will be wrong IPs. I don't know of any other checking procedure photomultiplier as replacement for a functional one. But you can also check the RJ45 plug on the MLC PCB
from the photomultiplier. They often get dirty and have bad contact, the same effect can be achieved.
Thank you for your valuable observations. The scanner cannot finalize the Initialization procedure under any condition (with or without connection to the PC). It aborts in the early stages. I will check the ethernet connector and cable between LMC and PMU PCBs. This problem could be related with a corrupted FC card?
