The software version is usually on the splash screen (When the system first comes up and shows the Konica logo) in the lower right hand corner or under the Konica logo in the center of the screen depending on the Windows format you're running. This software has to match the license key so if you upgraded your PC you'll have to get a new license key from Konica. If the PC is part of a work group of readers that work together they will not recognize the the PC you loaded. You will have to load the new PC/Reader info into each of the other systems in the work group.

You must enter the version because otherwise it may be a problem with licenses. Do you have a copy of the license?
