Siemens Multix IT. The collimator flashes from Manual to ACSS when trying to do table bucky exposures. Will not expose or collimate to table bucky. Works properly when the tube is rotated towards the wall bucky. This is an intermittant problem.
Looks like a wire broken inside cable connector at collimator unit.
Move the cable yourself to try repeat the failure, check the pins at connector too.
Try to clean the detector photodiodes. You must remove the table, the ion chambers, the plate that cover the photodiodes and clean them. Normally it works.
Check also that the cassete is placed correctly over the tray.
