If you have replaced the time keeper in RM, you need either to reconfigure it through Siemens DUI, which I expect that you dont have, so I advice you to reload the sofware if you have all opional disks. The installation is easy:
1- while system is OFF, insert the SW disk(you can distinguish it by reading the Installation sw version ...)
2. system on
3. than follow the instructions.

to re-install the SW you dont need to push anything just put the disk push power on, if the CPU alive(show "initializing" on monitor when power the system on. if you dont see the word initializing on monitor during the power up, I would sugest that you replace the CPU, but also still you need to reconfigure it or reload the software, if you didnt get the same revision as yours. CPU is not expenssive. it is from motorolla.
all this ofcourse if you have already confirmed that you have only CPU's problem(all DCs are ok...)

well, since couple years I didn't work with such bad system.but, as long as you see initializing that means your Rm is alive; I think you have bad HDD; and that happen frequently for this system, I don't know why. so you need to re-install the sw. I hope you have it and also that scsi HDD on system is not bad; which I suspect.

RM board problem, please replace it. I had this error and had it solved with replacing the RM and reload the SW.

I have just bought an elegra.
It works fine but I don't know if I have the most recent software and I'm afraid that the HD will crach some day.
No idea if I can make an image of it.
I'm allso looking for the siescape and 3scape software.
Or works the free Stradwin software as good or better?
