I'm service engineer in Brazil, please I need a help. I work in a hospital, and I have the problem with Siemens Sonoline Versa Plus.
When I turn the system on, it appears the message:
Please insert system disk 1.
I inserted the disk, but not resolve the problem.
Please, I'm realy need a help.
Regards
Eng. Eduardo Augusto Tognon
It is asking for the disk, because the System software is not installed and the drive is not able to read the disk because the disk is not being recognized. I would check why the disk is not recognized before checking if the drive is bad or not communicating.
I have problem in my disk number 1.
I inserted the flopy disk in drive PC and the PC didn't read my disk number 1 (software version 2.0.0)
Can anybody send me an image of this disk for my e-mail?
If you're encountering a "system disk error" on your Siemens Sonoline ultrasound system, it could indicate an issue with the system's disk drive or the operating system. Here are some steps you can consider:
Check the Disk:
Ensure that there is no external media (like a CD or USB drive) left in the system. Sometimes, the system may try to boot from an external device.
Check for any visible damage to the system disk.
Reboot:
Try rebooting the system. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.
Check BIOS/UEFI Settings:
If the system is not recognizing the hard drive, access the BIOS/UEFI settings during startup and verify that the hard drive is detected. Ensure that the boot order is set correctly.
Boot from a Recovery Disk:
If you have a system recovery disk or installation media, you may try booting from it. This can help you access recovery options or reinstall the operating system.
Diagnostic Tools:
Some ultrasound systems have built-in diagnostic tools. Check the system manual for any diagnostics or self-test options that can help identify hardware issues.
Contact Siemens Support:
If the issue persists and you are unable to resolve it using the above steps, it's recommended to contact Siemens customer support or technical service. They can provide specific guidance based on the model of your Sonoline ultrasound system.
Remember that any attempts to troubleshoot or repair medical equipment should be done in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and with consideration for patient safety. If you are not familiar with the technical aspects of the equipment, it's best to involve qualified service personnel or the manufacturer's support team.
