I have a siemens acuson x150 displaying a caution message with "???????????" after boot, i can only press ok and after that it boots again. Has anyone experienced this? The service manual would be very appreciated also.
Does it matter if there is a transducer connected or not during the boot-up? Is the HDD status LED on the I/O on or flickering green, indicating that it is OK? It is the third LED from the right, in the row of 4 LEDs above the USB and network connectors. If it is, cbeck DS1 on the BE board to see if it is lit or not. If so, that would indicate the BE board is defective.
First step: as min. you must check the voltages
+/- 100 V,
as max. you must check all the voltages at the test points of DC-DC.
Pls send me the result to markoshv@ukr.net
for next step.

Hi Ricardo,
First = You must check the voltages at the test points of DC-DC :
Reference Test Point
Number Value Tolerance
TP1 +2.5V ± 5%
TP2 +5.1V ± 5%
TP3 +5.0V ± 5%
TP4 +3.3V ± 5%
TP5 -12.0V ± 5%
TP6 +12.0V ± 5%
TP7 +12.0V ± 5%
TP8 0 ~ 18.0V ± 5%
TP9 -100.0V ± 5%
TP10 +100.0V ± 5%
TP11 +14.2V ± 5%
TP12 -14.2V ± 5%
TP13 -2.0V ± 5%
TP14 +5.0V ± 5%
TP15 +3.3V ± 5%
TP16 GND
TP17 +3.3V ± 5%
Second = after notification of the results of measurements
