i have the problem with one medical equipment smps, Noload conditition output is ok.but when connecting with load the output voltage is falldown, what is the problem, anybody can guide me,
There are two possibilities:
1.- The current that the equipment is demanding for the SMPS is more than device can support. This meaning there is a short circuit on equipment.
2.- The SMPS can not support its normal work condition that mean the device is bad and must be repaired / replaced
The best way to know the true is to simulate the normal load in the supply to force it to delivery 75% of its rating. If it supllies the load with out lost its nominal volts, the supply is ok and the problem is forward.
Dear alagu
Try checking output capacitor or replacing them with new one. Check the load, is it in safe limits or the load is the main fault causing supplies to go into overload. try shedding some load & apply them one after the other.
good luck
