somatom ar star problem:
when trying to take topogram ,no gantry rotation and asking for resetting,even after resetting same problem.
error messages are
-EM 2808 NEW 8.5 MIN
-ER 2713 NO ROT IN STAND STILL
-ER 2715 ROT NO ACCELERATION
NO DIGITAL NUMBERS SEEN IN SEMOVERT MICROMASTER,
IS IT PROBLEM WITH LIBA BOARD?

movement is running and another `GO` command is received by PHS_SP.
Reason for error:

Incorrect evaluation of the horizontal position information `PH` and its parameter bit `running` on KEY1 or KEY2 or the
ICU.
What to do?

1 Test CAN communication.
2 Move the patient table via KEY1 or KEY2 or Move buttom on the console.

I am working now with a somatom emotion 6 ct. When i meet this ct the first time, the problem was the IRS. we got another irs. Both ics and irs are 7A towers. I realized the ics software was the VB38B, and the new irs has the VB20B and didnt sinchronize. So i decide to install software again, but first i made the backup from the ics VB38B. by this time, the gantry was ok, rotating at the start, and with positions on gantry display, table and tilt movements ok.
I dont have the VB38B CDs, so i tried installing the VB20B on the ICS ans the IRS. But when i recover the backup VB38B i did before on the new VB20B ics, the gantry didnt recognize table nor tilt positions on display, and couldnt move anything. eventhough the ics and irs sincronize problem dissapear, but now i had errors in history like:
- Id: 25 The config file "U_SOMARIS_SCANUI" is not valid
- Id: 4 Error reading Entry "SOMARIS/Config/User//Scanui" from the registry
- Id: 1007 control error PHS (E 30 00 07 ff fe 0a ff)
- Id 1006 control error PHS (E 30 00 06 08 7f 00 01)
The phs error told me that the firmware table PHS was no the correct one.
I have very difficult time trying reinstalling all over again, but same result again. Please tell me: Does a backup of a version like VB38B does work with any other version like VB20B or not?
maybe thats why this messages appear.
Finally i did something different, after reinstalling again and restore 1 and 2 complete, i only restore the FIRMWARE file from the CT SETTINGS from another somatom emotion 6 backup and the Gantry and table RECOGNIZED NOW, MOVEMENTS TOO, but the gantry didnt rotate ANYTIME and i only have this error message:

What to do?

without activation of the rotation motor; that is, AP's were received.
The gantry is rotating without a start request from the control.
Reason for error:

- The brake did not engage properly and the gantry moved.
- Contactor K5 on ROT_CI_BRE hangs.
- Contactor K1 is activated due to a short-circuit.
- D31 ROT, activation relay sticks.
- Line D31 ROT X3 --> ROT_CI_BRE X3 is defective.
- Neutral line in ACS supply is not floating.
- Connections to LIBA defective.
- Cable W135 defective.

- wrong adjusted LIBA
- Defective cables or bad connections
- Frequency converter incorrectly programmed or def.

this is small prob., this prob. is related to d31, frequency convertor, rotation motor break. 1st u can check the swich S1 on rotation board (put S1 on 1), if prob. can't solve by this then U can loose the break of Rotation motor, if even this prob. can't be solve by this may be the prob. of frequency converter meter (U clear that LCD give any display or not, if not than it will be sure that frequency converter not working), Ckt breaker.
