The spit error indicates X-Ray tube arcing. Does this problem appear on every scan or one or two times in patient. Let me know the frequency of problem.
Please also let me know how many slices on X-Ray tube? Then I will be able to tell you type of action you need.

I agree that is a X-Ray tube problem. Please remove tube and check that there is an air buble inside or not. What about your images when you get error. Most cases there is streak artifact appears on images...

the slices number in the tube is: 80 k
and the spit errors are variety frecuency, example:
scan of crane its ok
scan of lumbar its no ok
and the next day warm up number slices 22 and the remain 16 spit error
next 6 hours warm up ok
scan lumbar ok
crane scan ok
this is the information.
