I have Karl Storz xenon light source 20133120. Some time the lamp of the light source lit in first attempt and some time the xenon lamp take longer time with many ignition sounds to lit.
Any one can please inform about the problem?
there is a chance it could be the bulb. i would check it with a new bulb or a bulb i new was good and if that doesnt fix it focus on the igniter. as far as i know they aren't fixed they are replaced. good luck.

Your igniter is going bad and will eventually fail. It should be replaced. i hope this helps you.
