We want to use DK512S-17 in place of DK514S-38S. Has anybody used it in the past. We need to know the jumper settings to make is work on GE Sytec 3000 CT Scanner.
Although I do not have the manuals in front of me as I type this, I do remember one problem I had with Sytec disk replacement. It seems that the manufacturer of the Systec hard drives made a "special" model of disk for YMS scanners. I tried to order these disks and was blocked since they were "proprietary" to GE.
The replacement for Sytec 3000 hard disk is a GE kit PN 2226139 and it includes Fujitsu hard disk model M1606SXU and a new PC board FMP3 and two PROM I think it is the only solution but if you have another option let us know , It will be a great issue.I have this Kit so you can contact me if you are interested .Tahnk you for Dot-Med team
