I got a throuble with a Sytec 3000 (No i console)
in the motor driver appears error number 7 (LED indictor) which corresponds to status: V.E.
I reset the driver and it is workin, but I dont know if there is a real problem.
There are a few things that you need to do to keep the VE(Velocity Error from coming back:
1) Clean and lubricate the gantry rotating assembly
2) Check the cable take up for wear or broken cable bands
3) Clean or change the motor armature brushes
