Toshiba Aplio 50 Extend database using Addvol command line
December 16, 2013 04:23
hi evrybody,
i have a trouble with sending images from an Echo device ( Toshiba Aplio 50 XV- SSA-700A) to the PACS.
The network connection is OK, already tested, ping = OK, sending test image using the diagnostic tool of the Echo is also successfully passed.
so no communication failure anywhere.
the errors that i found in the event log are the following:
Error 61: CSA_DB Database Volumes exhausted, no data can be saved anymore
i have enough free space on all my HDD partitions
the system is proposing two actions to do:
-cleanup the database : delete some obsolete data
-Extend database storage by using the command line tool "addvol.exe"
i already removed some old images but without results, still giving the same error.
But i have no enough info on how using the Addvol command
could someone tell me how to extend the database storage using the Addvol command line please?
thanks in advance

Hi Mounir,
This problem can be solved but before that have you done database cleanup or anything maintenance on the database? The HDD space size is no indicator of database being full. The database need to cleanup or if the data in the HDD is not needed anymore it even can be deleted and create a new one. Please email me to nesa@primamed.com.my.

I would advise not to try to increase the size of database, as the system is not designed for an increase. It will not also help you with your problem. Running the database cleaner may work, but the problem is likely to return in the near future. I would delete and remake the database. This should fix your problem. If not the only other way is to reload the software.
