Some help me with CT GE light speed, the system no working because every time turn on the monitor show me error.
"ping darc: waiting....
and then
" failure - waiting for ping darc response (exit status:8)
I conected monitor darc computer I can see the system up but after a few minutes show me...
"see you on the darc side of the moon .

Hi,
I having problem with Darc of LS16. Host is a XW8200.
Sometimes It does not power on with "service darcpower start" command. With Darc manual on no ping neither between them. No ping from darc to hosk neither from host to dark never. Pinging from my LAPtop Host and Darc both are ok.
After several connect/discorect network cable sytsem is fine. When ping is ok every console command to darc is ok.
When power on darc? always on or power on by Host? How is setting Darc bios? just WOL and/or always power on too.
Everything works ok for few days then again unable to power on Darc from host with "service darcpower start" commnad, no pinging between them. Everything works after several connect/disconnect network cable.
This short cable that connects Host and darc, does it have to be a crossover cable? or both Network cards are auto-MDIX?
BTW which darc port is network cable connected to? Darc has two OnBoard RJ45 connector.
Network cables from the main system to the darc? Is the darc rebuilding the raid when booting and slowing down the boot process? Can the main computer ping the darc?
Have you actually tried to manually ping the Darc? If you cannot manually ping the darc you likely have a bad NIC card either on your HP or darc computer, check for link lights on both

Your Darc is booting normaly, check ethernet connection from hp to Darc

I check the ethernet with ping and DARC not have comunication, I reload the IP and the system is working.

What do you mean with reload IP?
IP at darc or Host?
How do you do it?
