Valley Lab is refusing to service or sell parts or provide service for any electrosurgical units, except to those customers who are the original owner of the units. This includes parts orders.
When we could not repair them, we could send them to Valley for repair. Not any more!
I have four units that need the main transformer. If found the vendor who makes them, but Valleylab has the part locked up them only.
Any body out there that can get parts or will service the units?

Could you please send us the photo of the mains transformer? We do repairs for transformers, circuit boards and also make custom designed transformer. Please send us the details or if possible the defective transformer? First send us a photo.
Kodak did the sma thing years ago,and were taken to court by some ISO s and lost, big time.
Is it not the law in the US that they have to support what they make for 10 years after the date of manufacture. At the very least the have to take them in on repair

OEMs are not able to prevent ISO organizations from working on their instruments, due to Kodak, and other legal precedents. (cf "Spectrofuge")
For instance, it's possible that you might own one of their instruments and therefore even under the policy they stated, they would have to sell you parts.
Occasionally we have trouble with new or small OEM companies that do not understand the laws clearly. Why not just have your customer buy the parts you need to repair the equipment?
Tell me what parts you need. We have salvage units for parts and can buy parts direct (if they are still available). The entire SSE series is no longer supported, as well as the early Force units (except limited parts for Force 2)
