Hi All , I have a problem in VCT64 , when doing phantom calibration , a ring appear in some 32 and 64 calibrated images (mostly the images started with S , superior position), for example , when calibrating on 32i , 16 phantom images with prefix I are good , and 16 images are with ring. Remark : collimator , ma-ratio and auto test are good. Looking forward for your suggestions. Best regards
Thank you for replying , yes I did fastcal and detailed cal , I remarked that if I scan for example 20 cut axial , I receive the following : Slices 1 to four : wo artifact ; 5 to 8 : artifacted , 9 to 12 no artifact ....
Looks like you have a bad FRDM module. It is hard to tell which one if your DAS diags are passing. Phantom cals are in the head reign and are class 1 FRMD which is more expensive.
Thank you , I check with Ma-ratio test , no problem in the center FRDM (class 1) , I remarked that in the air scan , there is an interrupt when occurring to cal the 64x0.625 , I receive this error : aircal_spectral_acal : possible beam obstructed , row 33 (1B), debt channel 570 ...
In fact , there is nothing in the scan area and the Mylar window is clean
I'm sure you did this but it has happened to me before. Was the phantom "centered in the water" not a chance the poly inside caught edge during calibrations. Q: was the artifact in image prior to cals? is
Thank you, yes the artifact are in images before cal , the phantom is filled and centered completely , I remarked that in the air scan , there is an interrupt when occurring to cal the 64x0.625 , I receive this error : aircal_spectral_acal : possible beam obstructed , row 33 (1B), debt channel 570 ...

Ok hearing that I have to say you probably don't have a bad FRDM at this point. With beam obstruction I would check tube alignment. Run BOW to check. It's ok to run it to check it doesn't make any changes. If fail you'll have to mechanical tube alignment. It bow ok you'll have to find the beam obstruction. Close look at Mylar. Black detector face cover. With a light Take a good down in tube port. Many times I've found a metal flake. If worst comes to worst remove the filter assembly and follow cleaning procedure.
We have a problem with a GE light speed 64 vct. it is stopping Scan with error message:230000860 error from DIP driver: optical sync; Link 1[NO SYNC] Link 2[ok]
Hello! Ismail. I have a similar problem to yours with Ringl Artifact. Could you please give me a guide on what you did actually to solve this problem looking at various options provided by the forums.
