HI, I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH VOLUSON 730,..WHEN U TURN IT ON THE TOUCH SCREEN ONLY SHOWS "voluson 730" ALL FANS WORK AND THE MAIN SCREN IT SEEMS IT'S GOING TO START BUT THAT'S ALL... NEVER HAPPENS ANYTHING...
YESTERDAY I CHECK THE VOLTAGE IN THE HARD DISK AND AS U KNOW I HAVE 12V BUT INSTEAD OF 5V (ON THE OTHER CONECCTION) I HAVE JUST 1.4

todo parece que tu fuente se quemo es el gabinete de abajo donde se connecta a la luz.
you got a bad power supply is the bottom module where is located the power cord,

At first, check all DC voltages on power supply,
If it is good, check solfware in harddrive, may be solfware or harddrive failwd

I need help please. I just bought a voluson 730 from 2002. It worked fine for about 2 weeks. Now when i boot up the system the voluson logo appears on the touch screen, the monitor powers up but no image. nothing happens after this, it just stays like that. when i turn off the machine, it wont turn off unless i trip the fuse or unplug the machine from the wall. when this all statred to happen i thought i heard a faint pop coming from the machine. can anybody help me??
I also dont see any cd's or dvd's that came with the machine.

Hi,
open the back cover on the Voluson, you will find 6 green led's (look down on the right). Power on the unit and see if they are light.Configuration is:
-(+15V)--(+3,3V)
-(-15V)--(+5V)
-(FAN) --(+12V)
Inside of the board where the led's are located you will find 2 fuses one for 12V and one for 5V

If the fuses are OK.
Then your problem is the power supply board.
It is located next to the hard drive.

I dond understant you have the 5 volt or no.if have 5 volt your sbc bord (moderbord) is defectiv.or you can check the voltag of pwer supply .it must be 59 v fix.and if all 6 lamp of back of bep is on you must cheng the moderbord or repair the moderbord.

Just u need check the CPP board by applying external DC 40v min
Then check output dc(12,+/_15,+/_5,3.3)V
I hope it's 5volts may be the problem if you already know this ignore it
